About

Hi, I’m Priestess Raven Crow, aka Whitney, I am a witch, wife, mama, and owner of The Witch Source. I am a professional oracle card reader and my deck of choice is The Faeries’ Oracle which I’ve used to read since 2009. My many gifts include several of the clairsenses (clairvoyance, clairaudience, etc.), along with psychometry (the reading of energies on objects), and mediumship. I come from a magical family and became a Priestess with the Clan of Boskednan (see more below) in November of 2025. I love all things magical and enjoy handcrafting spell and ritual supplies and goods, as well as helping and teaching others in the craft.

I fell in love with magic as child when I found a hidden book of my mom’s called Celtic Magic; I was young and didn’t fully understand but I know it felt right. Flash forward to my teen years I dove even deeper into the magic and mysteries and started reading cards full time in my twenties. By this time my family was “out of the broom closet” but we still kept it quiet to most. My mom, sister, cousins, and more are all magical beings and witchy women. My mom and older cousin Pam were instrumental in helping me become the witch I am today. I practiced mostly alone, unless I was with my family, from the time I was a teen; I still am mostly a solitary practitioner, but with much more training and support than in my early years.

In 2012 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and went through the regular treatment schedule of chemo, surgery, radiation and medications. Then in 2020 I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, the cancer had spread to my bones. Shortly there after The Witch Source was born, which was great because a few months later I lost my job and was forced onto disability. The Witch Source is not only my new passion but a lifesaver, a focus point, and something I fully enjoy doing; helping people with information and handcrafted intentional products. When you support my shop you not only support me but my family as well, and we appreciate it.

The Witch Source started as an idea at a kitchen table in late 2020 and in March of 2021 launched as a podcast, YouTube channel, and online store between myself and my cousin Pam, who is featured on the early podcast episodes. Pam and I, along with my mom and sister, Courtney, created all the products featured in the early shop. They were handcrafted in small batches and taken into ritual to empower. This format was important to us and continues to be the format and formula I use today, although today I make them solitary. Pam passed from covid in August of 2021 and it had a lasting impact on me, however, I’m thankful to still hear from her regularly thanks to my psychic, intuitive, and mediumship gifts.

The podcast was the starting point for me and Pam. We wanted to provide real and accurate information about witchcraft and magic. The mission was, and still is, to be a Source for Magical Empowerment. The podcast evolved a bit after Pam’s passing after taking a short break. My sister helped me out, and we had a few other guests along the way. Eventually my sister stepped back to focus on her family life and the podcast took a few more twists and turns, eventually leading to interviewing witches, priests, and priestesses of many different traditions.

In May of 2023, The Witch Source opened its doors as a brick and mortar store in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It is a combination metaphysical shop and tattoo shop, with my husband doing the tattooing. We have had the opportunity to meet so many seekers on their magical path. True to The Witch Source tradition, the majority of the items sold in the shop are handmade by myself, or feature other handmade items by local artists and practitioners. Keeping to the mission, The Witch Source is not a typical “cookie cutter” metaphysical shop, I only offer items I know work and I have personal positive outcomes and experience with, and can personally instruct others on how to use them. If you have a chance to stop by, please do! I enjoy answering questions and helping, even if you don’t make a purchase.

Through the podcast I had a chance to meet some wonderful witches and people. One of them was Tamara Von Forslun, Matriarch of the Clan of Boskednan, from Australia; also known as The Witch of Oz, given the title by the renowned Ramen Buckland. (Check out my interview with her on the podcast, I’m sure its one you’ll enjoy, it is one of my most downloaded and listened to episodes.) I started my studies with Lady Tamara in 2023 and became a Priestess with the Clan of Boskednan in 2025. Since then I’ve continued my studies and have started teaching my own classes, if you’re interested you can learn more on the Seeker’s page above.
